Ingredients :
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Directions :
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In large bowl, cream together shortening and sugar.
- In separate bowl, combine dry ingredients.
- Add to sugar mixture.
- Blend in egg, milk and cheese.
- Divide mixture equally into greased muffin pan.
- Bake 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
