Crawfish Etouffee

Ingredients :
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 2 bell peppers, finely chopped
  • 4 celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 package dry spaghetti mix
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound crawfish tails
Directions :
  1. In large skillet, melt butter.
  2. Add onions, bell peppers, celery, and garlic. Saute.
  3. Add tomato sauce, spaghetti mix, chili powder, Worchestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Let simmer 30 minutes.
  5. Add crawfish, then cover tightly and cook on low heat for 1 hour.
  6. Serve over rice.
