Cajun Shrimp Toss

Ingredients :
  • 1 pound fresh large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Condensed Cream of Chicken with Herbs soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • Cornbread or biscuits
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
Directions :
  1. Combine shrimp, 1 tablespoon oil, lemon juice, Worchestershire sauce, and Cajun seasoning.
  2. In medium skillet, heat remaining oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic and cook until tender.
  4. Add soup, milk, and paprika. Heat to a boil.
  5. Add shrimp mixture.
  6. Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes, or until shrimp turn pink.
  7. Serve over cornbread.
  8. Sprinkle with chives, if desired.
