Beef and Cheese Casserole

Ingredients :
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 cups dry breadcrumbs
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 4 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1/4 lb sliced sharp cheddar cheese
  • Pepper to taste
Directions :
  1. In large bowl, combine slightly beaten eggs, milk, worchestershire sauce, salt, pepper, mustard, and breadcrumbs.
  2. Let stand 5 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef and onion and mix well.
  4. Place half of mixture in bottom of greased 8x8 casserole dish.
  5. Arrange slices of cheese on top of mixture.
  6. Cover cheese slices with remaining meat mixture.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
