Ginger Cookies

Ingredients :
- 1 cup Packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Applesauce
- 1/4 cup Molasses
- 1 Egg
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons ginger
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/4 cup sugar
Directions :
- In large bowl, beat together brown sugar, applesauce, molasses and egg until smooth.
- In separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients (except granulated sugar).
- Stir into the wet mixture.
- Cover and refigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Form dough into small balls, then roll in sugar and place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 10-15 minutes.
- Remove and cool on a rack.
