Kid Friendly Gingersnaps

A Delicious, Soft, Spicy ,Chewy Cookie--So Easy To Make!
Ingredients :
  • 1 cup C&H Pure Cane Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine (1 1/2 sticks), softened
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp. molasses
  • 2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves, ground
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
Directions :
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, with a big spoon, mix sugar and butter or margarine until fluffy. Add in egg and molasses and mix until smooth. In another bowl, combine flour, soda, salt and spices; mix into sugar mixture until no flour is showing. Grease cookie sheet. Roll dough into 1-inch balls; roll in granulated sugar. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake 7 to 9 minutes, until almost no indentation remains when touched. Cool on rack.
