Description :
A Basic Icing for Cookies or Cakes; Thick Enough for Piping
Ingredients :
- 4 cups C&H Pure Cane Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1.4 cup water
- 1 tsp. flavoring (optional)
- food color (optional)
Directions :
- In large bowl beat all ingredients at medium speed 8 to 10 minutes. Keep icing covered to prevent drying. Store in refrigerator. Hints: Thicken with C&H Pure Cane Powdered Sugar or thin with a few drops of water, if needed.
