Ingredients :
- 1/2 cup tomato juice
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp chopped celery
- 1 (6.5 oz) can crabmeat, flaked
- Dash salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil
Directions :
- Mix tomato juice and egg.
- Add bread crumbs, seasonings, parsley, celery, and crabmeat.
- Mix thoroughly and roll into balls.
Coating
Ingredients :
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 3/4 cup fine, dry bread crumbs
Directions :
- Dip each ball into egg, then dry bread crumbs.
- Fry in vegetable oil until golden.
- Serve with toothpicks.
