When BBQ\'ing brisket .. marinate it overnight in a 50/50 mixture of apple and orange juice. Really tenderizes the meat quite a bit.

To reduce shrinkage when frying bacon, run bacon under colder water before frying.


To keep cookie dough from sticking to rolling pin, chill the rolling pin in the freezer before rolling the dough.
